Circular Cities Initiative, European Project
REFLOW is an innovative initiative aimed at transforming the way cities produce and consume by studying urban resource flows in six pilot cities: Amsterdam, Berlin, Cluj-Napoca, Milan, Paris, and Vejle. By applying the urban metabolic concept, which examines the biological and technical processes within cities, REFLOW is documenting and promoting methodologies for urban transitions towards more circular economies. The project recognizes the value in waste, seeking to make systematic changes at the city level and creating a wealth of resources for other cities to implement, including handbooks, toolkits, webinars, software, and circular business models.
